Sunstone takes its name from the glitter inside it; in dark-ground varieties this glitter creates a more pronounced contrast. In this model, Sırlı Sepet presents the stone in large, simple beads in a masculine line.

Sunstone is a mineral of the feldspar group. In its dark-toned varieties, fine metallic flakes inside the stone create a sparkling glow called aventurescence on a black-brown ground.
