Abalone is a sea snail whose shell is lined with mother-of-pearl on the inside. White and cream abalone carries the soft, iridescent glow of the light-colored layers of nacre. Because it is of organic origin, it is sensitive to perfume and chemicals. Traditionally it is regarded as a symbol of purity and new beginnings.
In natural stones, color tone, veining and pattern differ from piece to piece; these differences are not flaws but signs of the stone's authenticity. An identical pattern to the one in the photo should not be expected.

No. Pearl white is a name describing its color; the bracelet is made of white-toned abalone mother-of-pearl.
Are the colors the same in every bead?
White and cream tones and the intensity of the shimmer vary slightly from bead to bead; this is a natural difference.
How does it fit on my wrist?
It has no clasp; strung on elastic cord, it stretches over the wrist and sits comfortably. We recommend not overstretching the cord when putting it on and taking it off.
Does perfume damage it?
