Prayers and symbols
The story of Sır-ı Akik.
Agate has been cherished for centuries in Islamic culture as a ring and seal stone. In the Sır-ı Akik Red model, Sırlı Sepet carries this tradition into a modern rectangular form with Ayat al-Kursi, Alif, Waw and seal motifs.
Ayat al-Kursi
It is verse 255 of Surah Al-Baqarah. It describes Allah's oneness, that He is ever-living and the sustainer of all things, and that His power encompasses the heavens and the earth.
Alif
It is the first letter of the Arabic alphabet. With its upright, plain form, it evokes the oneness of Allah and uprightness in Sufi interpretations.
Alif Waw
It is a calligraphic composition in which the letters Alif and Waw are written together. In Sufi interpretations, Alif is taken to point to the oneness of Allah and Waw to the human being.
Hiç (Nothingness)
A calligraphic motif pointing to the concept of "nothingness" in Sufism, which expresses leaving the self behind and humility.
Seal of Solomon
A seal attributed to Prophet Solomon. It has often been used as a decorative motif in Islamic art and handicrafts.
Haqqani Seal
It is one of the traditional seal motifs. In the Sır-ı Akik composition it appears together with the other inscriptions and symbols.
This product is a piece of jewelry with spiritual and cultural meaning; it is not a protective object. Prayers and symbols are merely a means; only Allah protects and heals.
Natural stone
Red agate.
Agate is a microcrystalline quartz variety of the chalcedony group. Agates in red and orange tones are also known as carnelian. In traditional culture it is regarded as a symbol of courage and vitality.
In natural stones, color tone, veining and pattern differ from piece to piece; these differences are not flaws but signs of the stone's authenticity. An identical pattern to the one in the photo should not be expected.
